MBGFC U15 Premier and U16 Premier kicked off their respective seasons last weekend. The U15 Premier team played their first game in DDSL Premier after gaining promotion last year against Kilnamanagh FC. The U15s had a fantastic start with a 5-1 win away to Kilnamanagh. A brace each from Joseph Offoma and JJ Kayode and one from Billy Raheem was enough to earn the U15's. The U15's face a tough second game on Saturday at home to Crumlin Utd FC.
The U16 Premier team started off strongly with a tough home start against St.Josephs Boys FC and after a fantastic performance from Mick Foley and David Dod's charges they were unlucky to finish up on the end of a 2-0 loss with Joeys scoring their second goal in the final minutes of the game. Mick Foley was delighted with his team's performance and feels that they can build on it for next weeks fixture away to Home Farm in Whitehall.
